M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. my main problem i am putting on so much weight not eating any more than befor but am putting on about 3lb per week very shortly will have no clothes that will fit cant really afford to buy a lot of new ones
