This drug was a last ditch effort for me. It was trying this or having ECT which I am strongly against. I am happy that pristiq has given me much needed relief not only from depression but from anxiety as well. The only really awful side effect I had at first was nausea. It was very strong for about 3 weeks and then faded as time has gone on. I would recommend anyone whose tried other medications that haven't worked well for them to try this one.

I am taking N-plate for over twp months now and have no side effects at all. My platelet counts are now steady to 50-70. 000 I cannot complain, I prefer it from prednisone treatment or a splenectomy.

I was forced to take this drug for a colonoscopy after I vehemently told the Dr that I didn't want it and to use a painkiller and not an amnesiac. He told me he knew best and just used Versed. I have IBS, I was wide awake in excrutiating pain, tears were running down my face and I tried to scream that I felt like a weedwhacker was turned on inside of me, but I was totally paralized!!! I took them for a short period this past fall. They weren't particularly effective. Not really any different from taking tylenol as far as aches went. The nasal congestion relief was minimal at best.

Taken azo for years about once a month. This time had to take it for one month everyday. Went to Dr. and there was no infection so still taking it once a day. Started having leg cramps in lower leg at night so bad that woke me up and had to get up and walk it off. Think it flushes out my natural minerals and that is what caused it. Started taking once a day vitamins and getting better.
