After finding out I had Graves Disease and thyrotoxicosis in January 2010 I was put on carbimazole (think I had symptoms for nearly a year but always put them down to something else, maybe "change of life" etc) After only 6 days I had a severe allergic reaction to the carbimazole that nearly lost me my life! I tend to get headaches a lot and the Advile really helps alleviate the pain. I normally take 2 tabs every 3 days and it works really well for me.

I've been taking Agomelatine for around 4 months now (50mg per day) in a UK based clinical trial. I had taken paroxetine for 12 months immediately prior to this so feel I can make a good comparison between the two. it works great 3 years I have been on it and I am not pregnant! The only down side is the weight gain and a change in emotions, it makes you a little more sensitive.
