Yaz was great for the first three months, then all of a sudden i became a horrible person to everyone around me. Started takin Aleve for knee pain. Developed abdominal pain and couldn't tell if it was bladder or gas. Did not put 2+2 together that it may have been a side effect from the aleve at first. That's how I wound up on this site. Stopped taking it and the abdominal pain went away.

I am a 42 year old woman who suffers with heavy periods and have done for most of my life! I recently started taking Norethisterone to help with my periods, which has helped. I suffer with anemia due to heavy periods, so regularly take Ferrous Sulphate, however this upsets my stomach and makes me feel ill, so I try and take the liquid form which combines Vit C with the Iron. This was a very, very bad experience. I was completely unable to sleep longer than 1 hour at a time. Over the 5 months I was taking this, that sleep loss added up. I was tired all the time, could not eat due to severe nausea, and saw things that were not there (this was confirmed by my husband). I know a lot of people have been experiencing side effects from this, but I have had no problems from the shots whatsoever. I'm going to get my last dose in December. I don't like shots, but for me, that's the worst part of the experience. I want to prevent HPV and have not had any problems with some of the extreme side effects others are claiming.

I haven't started Valdoxan, yet. I read your comments and I'm really concerned about the back aches. I suffer from back aches (more like AGONY) without any help form meds. My back aches are psychosomatic, no pain killer helps. I'm going to try this. I've been on just about every antidepressant on the market, except for a couple. Only the first one worked and only for 7 years.
