Whilst taking this drug has got my thyroid levels back to normal and has sorted out those problems, I am constantly batling cold/flu viruses that my GP and consultant do not take seriously. Thankfully new GP has ordered a batch of blood tests to check I'm not one of the unlucky ones who have their white cells wiped out! This drug is absolutely wonderful for improving COPD symptoms but I have had to stop using it due to the severity of the side effects: anxiety, depression, insomnia.

Started out with 50mg 2x daily for a week, with no improvement. 2nd week took 75mg 2x daily with some good improvement in numbness/tingling. Third wee took 100mg 2xdaily and was so dizzy, could not walk in straight line. Had to hold on to the wall to walk. Only took 3 doses and had to stop. Went back to 50mg till I can get off it. Ataivan works better but does cause some drowziness.

YES i AM 52 YEAR OLD FEMALE BEEN ON MED FOR 6 MONTHS HAVE NUMBNSS IN THIGHS AND WHEN STANDING LONGER PERIODS. ASKED Y DOCTOR OFFICE SHOULD I STOP TAKING MED SAID IT IS NOT FROM MEDICATION KEEP TAKING . I FEEL THIS IS ASIDE AFFECTED NOT NOTED. I WILL TRY DIFFERENT MED.

from the time I started taking it I have developed a pain under the right side of my rib it feels like my liver or kidney I had all kind of check ups no can't find what is the problem .
