Simvastine was prescribed before I had an angioplasty (stent). But as soon as I was on a higher dose I became very ill.Confusion,memory loss, nightmares,servere muscle pain,depression,blurred vision,lack of appetite. lost interest in things and people I love.

I took Candex for three days, one capsule in the morning with a very large glass of water. I am very sensitive to all kinds of medicine, so I was prepared for the worst. The only thing that seems related in time to the Candex doses was the veins in my hands and fingers dilating (getting really big), making my hands ache and my fingers and palms itch. These pills made me feel like I was crazy. I was moody and depressed and impatient. My mood could change from being happy to being sad or angry in an instant. My boyfriend broke up with me because I treated him so badly. After I changed pills we got back together and things are fine. I also got migraines right before I started my period and those stopped after I changed pills.
