When I forget to take it on time, I get little "electric" shocks, I used to get them when I was starting on the medication as well. I don't really feel like it's doing much for me (if anything at all), I have it paired up with mianserin hydrochloride (20 - 30+ mg / day in the evenings depending on how tired I am - how much rest I've been skipping on previous days) which seems great. Severe hypertension from childhood. Medicated since 1963. Anaphalactic shock due to medication in 1996 resulted in medication change to Micardis HCT. Five years ago, dosage reduced by half due to excellent control. Now 77 years old, very healthy, active, walk 4 miles per day in 70 minutes. Least amount of side effects of any medication I have taken in 47 years.

I've been taking Reclipsen for about 3 years now. Nothing drastic to my health has ever occurred. Around the time of my period, I'll typically have pretty tender breasts and drastic mood swings. I've had periods of time with depression and decreased sex drive, but it's difficult to know if it was the pill or just that period of time in my life. I would recommend this to another person but would also remind them that everyone doesn't have the same reaction.

I found ibuprofen to be oustanding for relieving inflamation & pain. Unfortunately, it made my heart race and/or beat irregularly, so I had to stop using it.
