This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. I had a pituitary tumor and I was prescribed this medication. I was very satisfied with the results because it shrunk the tumor and my menstrual cycle started again, which was a relief.

I've ttried several pills over the past couple of years due the awful cramps I get before my period and none of them worked for me. One, I'm a highschool student, so my schedule is kind of all over the place, making it hard for me to take the pill a the same time every day, or remember. Citalopram worked amazingly well at bringing me out of my depression. It brought me from a 1-2 to a 7-8. After taking Citalopram I have literally never been happier in my life. However, for me a side effect has been extreme loss of energy and drowsyness.

I HAVE HAD FAIRLY GOOD SUCCESS AFTER THE FIRST WEEK SIGNIFICANTLY MINIMIZING THE FLUSHING AND ITCHING IF I EAT A SMALL CUP OF PARFAIT OR LOW CAL YOGURT BEFORE I GO TO BED ALONG WITH ONE ASPIRIN OR ALLEVE. SAMS NOW SELLS OVER THE COUNTER NIAPSPAN TABLETS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO FLUSH FREE. I BELIEVE THE NIASPAN D WEBSITE CAUTIONS PEOPLE TO NOT ABRUPTLY SWITHCH FROM NIASPAN D TO REGULAR NIASPAN.

Meloxicam

I am taking Meloxicam for disc degeneration L4-L5 -disc buldge putting pressure on nerve. Since taking this medication I have started to have trouble with Sciatica. It appears that Meloxicam is not reducing the inflammation as well as Celebrex. Unfortunately, I cannot take Celebrex due to a sensitivity to the medication (hive reaction). Meloxicam is also causing dizziness and constipation as well as insomnia.

I've been using this drug for about 8 months now. I've always had headaches and I'm a naturally a sleepy person, but I recently slept for 15 hours straight and only woke up because of my birth control alarm.
