My migraines usually last 24-36 hours. Naratriptan wears off after about 12-18 hours, so I often have to take another dose. The information sheet does not discuss this possibility, only what to do if ineffective. Some of apparent side effects are/may be a symptom of the migraine itself, i.e. dizziness, drowsiness, headache, eye pressure, concentration problems.

I have been pleased with the results - Dr. prescribed Valtrex to "shorten" any outbreaks, but so far, have not had any outbreaks. I had been taking 1 gm pill for about two months, then lessened the dosage to .5 gm.

I used Levora (Nordette generic) for over 5 years and it was great. However, I really like the idea of less periods. I have only taken it for a few weeks so I am not sure yet how I feel about Seasonique. I have expereinced some pretty extreme anxiety which I cannot attribute to any external situations (things are actually pretty calm in my life right now). Hardcore withdrawl symptoms even if you just take your dose a couple of hours late. Missing an entire daily dose can cause extreme anger issues with suicidal thoughts and hallucinations, particularly in your peripheral vision.
