I had to stop using Simponi, because the insurance changed and it wasn't covered by the new insurance. They told me to use Humira, which I was a little hesitant about taking, and it worked better than Simponi and Celebrex. So, now I'm on Humira and Mobic 7.5mg and I'm doing great. NO fare-ups. I take low-ogestrel for birth control. Previously I was on NuvaRing, which I really liked and recommend. However, I was travelling in hot climates and NuvaRing needs to remain cool and I could not always keep it refrigerated, so I had to switch to low-ogestrel. I did not have any side effects with NuvaRing (skin complexion improved) and effects with low-ogestrel have been minor, but I don't like that I have to remember it everyday, because I don't.

Sever rash sometimes occurs around the 9th day of treatment, it clears within 10 days following. Found it increased my total cholesterol mildly. Took 8 months on this drug to reach undetectable.
