developed parkinson's disease after taking Lipitor for 4 yrs. feel its effect upon isoprenylation of proteins, and thus decresed production of glutathione reductase and coenzyme Q10 as well as dolichols all contributed to mitochondrial dysfunction resulting in parkinson's disease

I have bacteria in my stomach and was prescribed prevpac. I have had just about every imaginable side effect or reaction including constant headache, diarrhea, nausea, awful metallic taste in mouth, small rash that did go away within 2 days, mild itching, yeast infection, muscle cramps and pains, and awful dizziness. It was a well prescribed drug for my scoliosis surgery, but the experience would have been much better with a higher dosage such as 7.5/10.0 mgs considering the pain involved in such a surgery.

Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. I agree with anonymous July 18 2009. no joy or happiness in life. I didn't feel anything in fact. my doctor reduced the dosage and now I feel fine. I have more energy and am more motivated.
