When I first went on Yaz, I experienced extreme mood swings like I do every single time I switch birth controls. However with Yaz, these mood swings seemed worse and seemed to last longer than after other birth control switches. Did not enjoy taking this medication. Everytime I took it, I got a yeast infection..the one good thing is that the severity of my period lessened. i have not taken this medication in three years.

I thought this pill was great. Who doesn't want fewer periods? I started taking about 5 months back, so I am on my second round (pack). I got married a few weeks ago and of course have been going through changes that would cause natural anxiety, but one thing I don't understand is that my sex drive has definitely been affected. I thought there was something wrong with me until I started doing a little research. I think this BC may do that to some people and I may be one of them.

I hate this stuff. I get out of breath if I walk up a flight of stairs or if I have to walk and talk at the same time. Erectile dysfunction is becoming more pronounced as well.
