I am 17, and have been on Ortho tri-cyclen since i was 15. I really like it, except that it is hard to remember to take, and i have had many pregnancy scares. I have an appointment to get mirena, but aftrer looking at reviews, I am considering cancelling my appointment. This medication changed my life. I almost failed high school. I got my BA-MA-Phd in late 30's on a 10-15 cup of coffee/day habit. Once I got a full-time job I was so exhausted from staying focused that i slept most weekends. For many years I could never figure out quite what was wrong with me/why I couldn't stay in the moment. I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. I now have a very, very low sex drive. But the meds keep me in check, people don't mind being around me, I'm not as angry, don't cry all the time.

Lymecycline

I have used Lymecycline for several months and whilst I have not noticed any serios side effects, it does not help my chronic dry eye condition. It appeared to help when I first began using it but soon became less effective. I was not happy about doubling up on the dosage as was recommended as the probable side effects were worrying.

Armour thyroid

I finally found a Dr would would switch me to Armour, after being on Synthroid for 13 yrs. My hair and skin are healthy, I sleep better, feel more normal then I have in years. Best part, I have my mind back! Yes, I can actually think and remember things.
