I have been on topamax for about 6 or 7 years now for bad seziures.. I have not had one spell since I have been on it.. I have not had any serious side ffects from thiis.. THe one problem i had was some numbness in my hands and tingling but it would come and go. My doctor is not weaning me off of topamax because I just do not want to be on it anymore no particular reason.. but i would recommend this to other people..

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. I am not sure which drug I am taking caused my vertigo--bystolic, hyzaar or simvastatin. or my weight gain...I have switched to pravastatin..

I have had restless legs for the last 2 night and realize today I had taken Advil PM the last 2 nights. I am glad to hear someone else experienced this. I will not be taking it anymore and hope it goes away
