Update: the Zyflamend is not effective enough for my rosacea which has returned somewhat despite my usage of the maximum dosage. I did get a five month break from taking the oral antibiotics which I think is a good thing and I plan to substitute Zyflamend, full dosage again in the future. In the meantime, I am continuing to take the lowest possible dosage to keep my arthritic toe and finger joints happy. I have tried a few different birth controls in the past year and nothing seemed to work for me. the first 2 months on FemconFE were fine. In the third month and continuing on i get horrific cramps on the 2nd saturday of each pack. (i have been on this pill now for 8 months) I cannot move because I am in so much pain. I was put on Ortho Tri-Cyclen as an attempt to regulate my menstrual cycle and hopefully to help lessen the intense, almost debilitating cramps I experienced every month. It helped with no side effects for me, and also had the added benefit of clearing up my acne, which I hadn't expected.

I have used NuvaRing for over 3 years and the onlly side effect I had was loss of sex drive. I loved being able to control my periods with it and not having to remember a pill everyday. That being said, after 3 years on it I started having severe lower abdominal pain. I originally thought it was a cyst but then the pain migrated throughout my whole pelvic area. Seemed to have a hard time focusing at work but did not relate it to the Meloxicam until I stopped taking it for a couple of weeks. I kept getting sinus problems. It only slightly improved the inflammation in my shoulder but it never went away.
