i was on yaz before and ortho-tricyclen lo before that. ortho mad em gain a bunch of weight and i had really bad depression and anxiety. I went on Yaz and did'nt have many side effects except a drop in sex drive. However after two years i started getting abnormal periods - where i would bleed for a month at a time and got anemic. Since menopause at age 58, I weighed 135 lb. I quit smoking 2-1/2 years ago and gained 15 lb. Lost that 15 lb. but then was diagnosed with emphysema 6 months after I quit smoking. Singulair is a great medicine when it comes to alleviating asthma symptoms. However, it made me feel fatigued and woozy all the time. I had trouble sleeping at night also.

My migraines used to be debilitating. Now that I take this drug, I can function again after I take a pill. I do get a little nausea and cold sweats sometimes after I take a pill, but I would take those side effects anyday over a brutal migraine.

I have experienced extreme incontinence after only 2 doses (1 2mg tablet and 1 4mg tablet).. I have been really really tired and confused and have had difficulty driving and remembering things I've done during the day. Needless to say I'm taking myself off this medication. I don't know why my doctor put me on it in the first place; I'm not schizophrenic.
