I'm sorry that your son is having this issue, and I do think you're right to be concerned. I have asthma and it runs on both sides of the family, so we weren't surprised when our daughter developed it at 2. She was pretty bad--she was on oral steroids etc and had regular breathing treatments. The pediatrician actually ENCOURAGED me to try alternative meds as he said this stuff isn't really tested in kids and we have no clue about the long term. I have used Lymecycline for several months and whilst I have not noticed any serios side effects, it does not help my chronic dry eye condition. It appeared to help when I first began using it but soon became less effective. I was not happy about doubling up on the dosage as was recommended as the probable side effects were worrying.

I took Amoxicillin for an ear infection and I ended up in the hospital for a sever allergic reaction. This antibiotic was too strong for me.

I took Lunesta for several months, Literally every morning I forgot what happened the previous night. I have woken up twise having had cut drastic ammounts of my hair in the night time and forgetting. It wasn't always like a blackout but it was very extremely fuzzy of a memory every morning.
