This was a very expensive drug that did absolutely nothing for me. It didn't prevent an oncoming migraine when taken at onset, nor did it dull the pain once the migraine was full blown. I didn't experience any side effects, but it did nothing for the pain.

Lipitor caused muscle damage at my shoulders and back and legs (could not tide bike due to muscle cramps) and pain was very severe so my doc switched me to Lipidil

I took ONE shot of 3.75mg Lupron Depot prior to fibroid surgery and still have an enlarged abdomen / bloating / fluid retention nearly one year later. I weigh only 91 pounds but my formerly flat stomach sticks out like a baby bump. What's worse, it's very uncomfortable. My clueless doctor suggested I wear Spanx (what, forever?) and even that didn't hold my abdomen in. It's a hormonal issue. In a study of 11,813 girls receiving the Gardasil vaccine, 2 developed rheumatoid arthritis, 5 developed arthritis, 1 developed reactive arthritis, and 1 developed juvenile arthritis. In the control group of similarly-aged young girls, all of whom received placebo shots also containing aluminum , 1 recipient developed lupus and 2 developed arthritis. It was very helpful in stopping the inflammation of my hives. I had to take it for almost a week but it was effective as soon as I was finished with the prescription. My hives were completely gone by the end of the week. The only problem I had with Prednisone was the after taste. It made me dread taking the medicine.
