This drug, prescribed for Hpylori infection is HARSH. Every dose I ask myself whether or not I should go off it. One time I skipped a dose! Nausea, stomach aches, itching, unquenchable thirst, diarrhea, black stool, are some of the side effects. If you have to take this drug, prepare to feel awful and don't expect much out of yourself. Herplex was the best. I get cold sores when under stress or with a fever. If I felt the tingle and took a couple for a day or two they would dry up immediately. Why oh why did they take it off the market.

I did not find this drug to be effective in treating my hurtburn as a matter of fact it upset my stomach and i had to ask my doctor to prescribe me something else.
