I started taking Metformin when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I started at a lower dosage twice daily and moved up to 850mg 3 years later and I haven't really had any problems with my blood sugar since then. Metformin keeps my blood sugar very stable and I am very happy with it.

I have been using Nuvaring for about 6 years now. I recently have started to have blurred vision, severe vertigo, fatigue, rashes and much more. I feel that my symptoms have worsened over the last 6 years but I have just now realized that this was the problem. If you feel any different on this medication, trust yourself and go tell your doctor because it is probably the medication. I took it for my strep throat, and while the pills were so large and difficult to take, within 24 hours i was able to tell that it was working. te down side was that i was supposed to take it for 10 days and all symptoms were one completely within 6 and 7, so i felt like i ws over medicating.

It got me out of a severe depressive episode, for which I am grateful. However, I still experience bouts of depression, often in the afternoon. So it is likely not a long term solution for me.
