When I first started Ortho-Tri Cyclen (Lo) I was bed-bound with sickness for two days. For the next year I would have morning sickness for the first week of every pill pack each month. SINCE TAKING ENALAPRIL, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING SWALLOWING PROBLEMS THAT FEEL LIKE MY THROAT GOES INTO A SPASM, HOLDING THE FOOD UNTIL THE SPASM GOES AWAY,. SOMETIMES, IT IS VERY PAINFUL, AND I CANNOT EVEN SWALLOW LIQUID.

after 3 A1c tests that were getting worse and taking more and more Lantus, I quit it totally because when I upped the dose my blood pressure went up as well. I had pain in both hands having gained 15 pounds as well. After one week of quitting, my weight went down 8 pounds and I no longer have pain in my hands. I will never take that stuff again. My sugars have been down significantly, staying between 90 and 100 in the mornings without it....

It's a good drug, it gives me less depression symptoms than other drugs, and since I laready suffer and get treated for depression, most birth controls make me have a few days of hell. this one is much better than the other two I have tried.
