I started taking Zocor (simvastatin) for high cholesterol and it has lowered my cholesterol without making any other lifestyle changes (diet or exercise). It has worked consistantly for 10 years and the generic is nice because it was cheap

I was on Femcon for several months. My skin became clear and beautiful. I had horrible cramps on other pills and hardly any cramps and a super light period on Femcon. I have fybromyalshia and often have headaches. I had less once I started this pill. I went off the pill 5 months ago trying to be healthy and thought maybe I would loose the 10 pounds I need to loose, but just went back on today because my skin was so bad and cramps were horrible. I took Microgestin FE before I had to switch healthcare plans, then I was given Junel FE. I feel like Junel FE is much less effective than Microgestin FE.

Even though the medication is slightly painful it is nothing compared to the pain I was feeling in my stomach and this medication just relieved all of that pain and it just felt amazing, the cramping in my stomach was just gone. No side effects from this medication or anything.

Have been on Lipitor for 3 months now. Just got blood test results (fasting). Went from 250 down to 173!!!! Only thing I wasn't happy with was my sugar (glucose) went from previous 100 to 128 ( a little elevated)..I AM NOT going on sugar pills!!!! Maybe just coincidence!!
