I took levora for about 6 months and had to stop because the side effects. I had never taken the pill before this and didn't know what to expect. I gained about 20 lbs within the first 4 months and constantly had breast tenderness. I had extreme mood swings and a complete loss of sex drive. Becoming an on set Adult Diabetic Type 1 was enough shock, including adding shots with medication to a person that would rarely take children's Tylenol was a life change. Lantus gives me the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle by changing my diet eating plenty of vegetables and having time to learn the lifestyle of a diabetic.

I am confused as to dosing,as some articles say 2000 IU or 5,000IU.I want to use it to boost immunity to the flu. My husband had prostate cancer,I have fibromyalgia and have an 8 year old child.Some say do not take it on a sunny day.Others say up the dosages if there is a flu outbreak.Most MDs are clueless about vitamins.Mine has not heard of its usage for the Swine flu.Europe is way more advanced .Do I have to take it all winter? If I don't have atleast 10 hour sleep at night after taking Minipress XL 2.5 mg, then I don't get strength on my feet to move around coupled with slight head imbalance making the total feeling uncomfortable. Moreover, since the time I have started taking this medicine my eyesight power has gone up considerably. However, putting on 80 Lbs. in 2 years while on this was enough for me to discontinue it's use and try to find another solution.
