See my mother's Alz experience above. She got into trouble with only 3/4 of a .5 mg tab a day. When I insisted Mom be sedated for invasive procedures at a hospital ER room, they figured they'd give her a full day's allowed dose at once, so that would be 1.5 mg. That put her in LaLa land allright. I was grateful they used it on this occasion. Overuse of this drug could have stopped her breathing. 22 mg in one day. Good grief. I have been using bi preterax 5mg for 2 months, my blood pressure is stable after using this medicine, but the problem is I got very Severe constipation, I would like to know if somebody face same problem like me ,, thanks
