Vicodin made to Nauseaous and Dizzy / Delirious that I had to switch to Darvocet. Since I have a very high tolerance to pain medication, it took the "edge" off of my pain, but it was so small an amount of pain relief that it was not worth the side effects for me.

I was told to take this while we were trying to get pregnant. I had to stop taking it because it left a metalic taste in my mouth and I was very nausea. I had a huge appetite while I was taking this also.

Glad I read your comment. I go for my first (3 month) cholesterol blood test to see if the Lipitor is working. I think I'll ask my Dr. to ask for a glucose test also, just to be on the safe side. Thanks!

I've taken other statin drugs for many years and slowly drifted into the severe side affects w/o knowing it. I lived through the side affects, thinking it was an age thing. The doctor never asked about some of the severe side affects so I didn't link them together until I read an article. I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment
