I have been on cymbolta for years. I am tired of gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it. (no matter what I do) my friend told me her meds. made her metabolism slow down Cymbalta doesn't have a side effect of weight gain but I wondered since i have been on C for so long maybe it is effecting me. I had nausea and vomiting the first 2 months of taking it, but they completely went away after that. Other pills caused bleeding between my periods, but I had no spotting at all with Microgestin.

My thyroid lvls were low so doctor prescribed this to me 25 mg. once a day. I noticed a weight gain immediately, headaches, severe joint pain, my throat felt swollen or like a lump was in it and overall negative effects. Coartem is not like nivaquine ( another medication that I used to take for malaria) which used to itch me seriously. The main disturbing side effects are that it makes me tired and dizzy. A part from that, it is a good medication.

This particular drug (100mg, baby blue capsules) did not give me many side effects. No nausea even on an empty stomach, no vomiting, very slight reaction to the sun. However, I noticed a marked increase in fatigue and depression. I have a feeling of being just completely wiped several hours before my normal bedtime. This drug is being taken once a day for 30 days to clear the increased acne as a result of taking Androgel.
