Advair works great for breathing problems, but since i started using advair, i have voice changes, lots of pain in my joints, and weight gain, i want to stop using this medication, but cant, it seems ive become dependant on this stuff. its like my lungs just cant work with out advair, i dont like that at all, i didnt use to have that type of problem before.ive been using advair about 6 yrs. now, the longest ive been able to be off it was 3 months, but i cant even do that again.

I am taking Proscar (finasteride) in its non-prescribed use as a hair loss drug. After taking it for 6 months, I have seen an effective stop to my hair loss, and an increase in the density of my hair in the front. New vellous (small/white) hairs are popping up around my scalp, and some of them continue to darken. I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment
