Do not take Codeine because when I took it I vomited blood and thought I was dying instantly.

When I switched from Imitrex to Treximet, I found relief was within an hour and if I had a bad migraine and took a second one after one hour it was gone. In the past, My severe Migraines could last on and off for 3-5 days at its worst. Side effect is heartburn. I want to thank my Pharmist Richard for telling me about the drug...I had to ask my doctor about it and then she gave me a sample.

Wow, Tom, I hope I am playing basketball at 75 too. I agree though, my Dad never took anything and he looks about 60 even through he is 78. I use a lot of indian herbs like amala, awhwagandha, and Gotu Kola which seems to keep me running, but my basket ball game aint what it used to be. Nice site here. Thanks

I wish this drug was available in the US. It is a very popular drug in the rest of the world. I know it was a taken off the shelves in a few countries for some kidney problems that might have been caused in young children and others by it, so I am sure it will never make it here, but it is an effective pain killer if taken moderately, maybe not every day. I felt the Estring was the easiest way to resolve being the 1 in 3 who develop vaginal atrophy post-menopause. But over the course of time, my husband and I have found it necessary to remove it to have satisfying sex and I find it can slip out at unwanted times. My 14 year old daughter had the 1st of the 3 on 3/9/2010. She had pain at the injection site which is typical but since has had abdonimal pain and had no menstration. I am not sure if we will continue with the series.
