I've used Metformin for about two years now. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and was prescribed Metformin in order to help me keep my weight down and decrease my apatite; I am also on birth control. Both pills are keeping my menstrual cycle regular. The only thing that is bothersome about Metformin is that, for the first few days when starting up the pills, I get nauseous and have an upset stomach/diarrhea, but it's nothing that Pepto-Bismol can't handle.

My doctor told me to take 2 pills a day but he told my daughter-in-law to take 5 a day so i don't know what the deal is with that...

I was diagnosed with myoclonus by a neurologist a year ago, although I had suffered from it a couple of years before hand. An MRI scan and EEG failed to show any abnormalities, however I was diagnosed with epilepsy and perscribed the anti- epileptic drug Levetiractam (Keppra). The Keppra reduced the intensity of my myoclonus but not the fequency so I have been perscribed Clonazepam. It works for restless legs but lethargy, headaches, sleepiness, breathing not worth it if my husband can deal with my restless legs. The dosage above was prescribed but I have never taken the 3 a day. I took 2 the first day, and I was useless for anything, then 1 a day and still the side effects. I stopped 2 days ago and still feel the effects. Takes a long time to get out of your system.

I do not feel satisfied with INH which is a drug that prevent tuberculosis. Since I do not really need to take it. I call my doctor to make sure if I should stop taking INH or not. He checked me and the nurse withdraw two tubes of blood to get tested and see if this drug is affecting my liver. I will see the doctor this Thursday again to get my results but the doctor already told me to stop taking INH to compare how I feel by not taking it.

After reading all of these reviews I feel much better knowing I'm not the only one experiencing these side effects. I've also noticed that ny legs have been itchy.... It's been like 3 days since I've been getting minor cramps as if I was going to get my period... But its 2 weeks away... And this is my second pack by the way... And first bc pills I've ever tried. And I'm not sexually active.. I'm on the pill for severe cramps.
