The problem is that, the food is highly selective. I have to constantly choose what to eat, and what not too. This is seriously annoying, because carbohydrates are almost everywhere. When my blood sugar is too low, I take some malt or any sweet drink to balance it. When it is too high, it has side effects too, such as loss of your mind, fever, hallucinations, etc.

I was put on Lyrica to control my sciatic nerve pain after I had back surgery. I took this for three months and I saw no improvement in my pain that I was having in my leg. I experienced heavy fatigue while taking this I was always tired and felt kinda light headed and dizzy. My doctor took me off of this and prescribed me Keppra instead, it was a much better product for me.

I was very depressed and had thoughts of suicide due to debilitating pain and loss of mobility, and was walking the floor at night, unable to sleep, crying, wishing I could die just to be free of the pain. I had over a year of this pain,with countless visits to the doctor and an ever-increasing deformity in my hands. I just started this med, but my mood and thinking are noticeably improved. I've noticed a tendency to be overconfident (typically quite rare for me) and then regret actions taken. I have no idea what the impact on my weight will be, though I'm concerned as my taste in foods is changing. The shakes are annoying.

After being on this pill for only 6 months I had to get my hormone levels checked. Originally, my DHEA and DHEA sulfate levels were double what they were supposed to be, but after a couple months on this pill the levels were back in the normal range
