Good porduct overall, i have been a sufferer of chronic knee pain for 5 years now (i am 21) and voltaren has been amazing. From the first time you put it on, you will notice a sharp decrease in pain, and a slight decrease in swelling. Its really nice to be able to walk around without all the pain that comes with everyday walking

This was first prescribed by a neurosurgeon to replace MS-Contin he said due to the insurance coverage not paying for the MS-Contin. But since changing specialists, I find it difficult to get any other physician willing to write a prescription. They say that the DEA is cracking down hard on pain mgmt. doctors and primary care doctors who write out requests for this medication. Sever rash sometimes occurs around the 9th day of treatment, it clears within 10 days following. Found it increased my total cholesterol mildly. Took 8 months on this drug to reach undetectable.

I have been taking the 40 mg for many years now and in the past 3 months I was told to take another 40 mg and to split it in half so that I am taking 60 mg. I did not like this as much because I would feel more comfortable taking a 60 mg pill, but since they do not make that I will see if this help my level get back in place.
