Ibuprofen works when I need minor pain relief, although I cannot say whether or not it works because of the actual drug in the pills or as a result of the placebo effect. Either way, it makes me feel better and they're non-addictive (to me at least), so I will stand by my Ibuprofen

Prevacid

Not sure I want to continue this drug due to the bloating and concern about the long-term affects. Was off it for less than a week and the bloating went away--nearly 5 lbs' worth. What replaced it was the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. Got my refill and now the bloat is back. Heartburn is gone, however.

Dexedrine

Dexedrine can act as an appetite suppressant. Although some may take advantage of this characteristic, I find that if I don't keep protein and small meals going and drink a lot of water I become edgy and nervy. Even if you don't feel hungry it is better to have a little something healthy (not sugary as this spikes and drops energy levels). This is an effective product. I have so far not had any side-effects or problems. My thyroid level testing has always come back consistent - which gives me the assurance the medicine is working. I highly recommend this product (...and recommend ignoring the internet campaign to bash it and all the sythethic thryoid medicines).

I am breastfeeding my son, so these pills were a good option for birth control. When I was on estrogen containing pills, I developed painful cystic acne which left scars, and since Jolivette, I haven't had one pimple. The only things I do not like about Jolivette are a decrease in my breast milk supply, a constant absence of periods, oily hair, and horrible migraines that cannot be helped by otc pain relievers that can last for hours.

Flucloxacillin

Awful indigestion started after I took second tablet of flucloxacillin. Nothing relieves it, it's constant discomfort, painful when food goes down so I'm not eating much at the moment. I've stopped taking this antibiotic now after I went back to see a different GP and he said I don't need antibiotics, hooray!
