M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. I was a baseball pitcher back in high school and a ball got hit back up the middle and off of my face. It broke 3 bones and the pain was undescribable. I could not get surgery done for a week and I was perscribed percocet for the week before and the week after my surgery. Even though it made me tired, it worked tremendously.

Beginning in August, I started taking Super B-complex supplement which also contained Vitamin C and by october I stopped bleeding. The vitamin B helped the liver to absorb the excess estrogen in my body. I was bleeding for five months straight with pieces as large as chicken livers until trying this supplement,. I am now 51 and I have not had a period in seven months. I have no estrogen surges, no fiborcystic breasts, I feel good and just have some night sweats.

Tums helps alleviate minor stomach problems. However it does not help for anything which causes a lot of pain. It helps with minor annoyances. Yes it does help some pain go away, but it isnt pain that is unbearable, it is just as easy to wait out the pain.
