Avonex

I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. I think I would be in a wheelchair if I never took Avonex. Omeprazole

This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. Crestor

RateADrug is working on a list of alternative and complementary therapies for high cholesterol and heart disease--please let us know if you find anything that works well. Have you tried daily "gloop?" Also, did Crestor affect your blood sugar at all?

Tri-Regol

Tri-regol has been the only birth control that I've been taking that is basically "symptom-free". I did not gain weight, get a yeast infection, have a change in vision or get nauseous or tired, as I have experienced with other birth control pills. It gets a A++ in my book

Fluoxetine

I had a spiralling reaction to life changes that happend all at once, i.e. loss of business, debts etc. I felt overwhelmed and unable to control the situation. Fluoxetine and talk therapy helped me to take each day at a time.

Carboplatin
