My doc and I are still trying to work out the right dose to combat the sleepiness that my antidepressants cause (I've tried many - all make me sleepy). On 75mg, I can get through the day but am exhausted at night when it wears off. On 150mg, I feel fantastic - have tons of energy, am happier, a little less hungry (which is great considering the weight gain that's happened with trying so many antidepressants), but I lay awake at night for hours. The first time I took this pill, it did exactly what it was supposed to do- my infection was gone in a matter of days. No stomach pain or indigestion. This time, it's been awful- I spend an entire night throwing up and suffering from diarrhea ... I had taken the pills along with some allergy herbs, had waited till 3hours had passed since dinner, but still woke up at 2 and was up the rest of hte night. The antibiotic made me car sick pretty often while I took it, perhaps bc till then the last time I took antibiotics was when I was like 6 or so.

Ibuprofen relieves my headache and muscle aches, especially after a hard day's work. It usually is fast-acting, and the side effects are minimal. I recommend eating before consuming the medication. I would recommend this medication to anybody. It doesn't thin my blood like aspirin and give me nosebleeds.

I have been taking advair since I moved back to Texas in 2001. My asthma was out of control for years but has been under control virtually the entire time I have been on advair. I haven't ever asked to change drugs becasue I've never needed to.
