Advil is a great OTC medicine for minor pains like headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It has been effective for me while not producing any negative side effects. However, it may not work as well on more stronger and long-term pains.

I have had Asthma my whole life, and I take this two times a day. I do not get any side effects from it but sometimes it does not work. I recommend it to anyone with Asthma because it helps me breathe much better.

In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. My aunt (in her late 50s) took Zyrtec for a short time 3 yrs ago. She said it worked well but she lost her sense of taste - nothing for 3 yrs. I guess there's no way to fix this - has anyone heard of a way to fix this?

I love this medication. It is one of the only cough medicines that really work for me. It last almost the whole time it is supposed to unlike other cough medicines, because it's thick enough to coat my throat. I also love the orange flavor that it comes in. The grape flavor I don't care for as much.

The patient's blood sugar level is somewhat unstable; it vacillates between 140-150 mmol/L, and even 181. which is moderately higher than the normal 120-130 mmol/L. However, she is satisfied with the medication because she feels well most of the time.

I am not convinced that the Remicade was the cause of my getting the mersa infectious cyst inside my Larynx and there is no proof that it is connected in why I suddenly had Liver Cancer. Both have been treated and (kidney removed) and I would really like to go back on the Remicade, but my doctors say NO. My latest issue is now Pancreatitis (I have been off of the Remicade for 1 year and 3 months. So I don't think it relates to it either.
