Positives: Works fast, not a pain killer... so there are no groggy side effects. Used for several years without any problems. Negatives: Quite expensive even with insurance. No generic equivalent available.

About half say yes or they know someone on it that has problems. My Urine had got very smelly, so bad one had to wash after urinating or the stench came through ones clothing. Horrible joint pain, to the point I could not stand or walk. Took my nephrologist to discover it was the med and immediately took me off of this. They say that the damage should not be permanent, but it's been 6 weeks and my hip is still very painful, although improved. VERY frustrating!!!

No longer taking copaxone, as was not effective at all for me. Did like it much better than the interferons, no flu like side effects. MS progressed rapidly while taking it. Did have the immediate post injection reaction once, which is not an allergic reaction. Was scary, but still continued with this therapy. Found out after all the attacks and MRI's that the daily shot was a waste of time and money.
