Changing to this synthetic analogue, described to me as "the greatest thing for Type 1 diabetics" by my diabetic team was a decision I now deeply regret. The side effects were extremely debilitating - extreme fatigue, memory loss, joint & muscle pain, feeling as if I was in a foggy toxic state all the time despite good HBA1c results. As i mentioned previously the best thing about azithromycin is that i'm not allergic to it. In addition i did not have to take too much of the drug for too long to feel healthy once again.I only had to take 500mg once a day for 5 days.

I really appreciate this medication. It works really good, and it regulates my blood pressure very well. I feel more confident, personally, emotionally. I didn't experience any physical changes, but emotionally I feel better.
