When I had appendicitis, I was prescribed Extra strength tylenol for pain which gave me rapid pain relief which is what I really needed. However, it did make me very sleepy.

My thyroid lvls were low so doctor prescribed this to me 25 mg. once a day. I noticed a weight gain immediately, headaches, severe joint pain, my throat felt swollen or like a lump was in it and overall negative effects. I had a hysterectomy the same month the doctor prescribed this so I am unsure if its the levothyroid or effects of no hormones...maybe a little of both. I am in your age range and I just started taking it today. The doc started me on 30mg. what was your starting dose and having there been any changes in dosages? Also, have you experienced and lack of libido?

Androgel has reduced (to almost eliminated)---the "low level" blues I've been experiencing. However, since I started it (along side another drug)--I've had *EXTREME* fatigue. (to the point of sleeping 24-48 hours STRAIGHT--with only waking up for bathroom breaks). A Drug Rep suggested I up my dosage, I'm waiting to see the Doctor to do this. Unlike flonase, I don't seem to end up with as much of a dry nose problem. I like this. It also seems to burn a lot less when taking nasally.
