I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms. I'VE BEEN TAKING LIPITOR FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS. ALSO SOMETIMES IF I HAVE A HEADACHE I WILL TAKE EITHER ADVILS OR A GOODY POWDER,I'M NOT SURE,IF THE LIPITOR WOULD CAUSE SMALL BLOOD VESSELS TO BREAK OUT ON MY ARMS OR IF ITS THE COMBINATION FROM THE ADVILS OR GOODY POWDER,I'VE TAKEN ADVILS AND GOODY POWDERS WHEN NEEDED FOR YEARS BEFORE EVER TAKING LIPITOR.WOULD ANYONE KNOW?? I do have a problem retrieving common words since using Lyrica however, the worse problem in weight gain. I am already well overweight and had lost 27 lbs. with GREAT effort; however I have gained back nearly 15lbs. already without much of an eating change (I don't think). I have notices a stronger appetite and have tried to keep watch but it seems to be gaining anyhow. I am diagnosed with diabetees which I have controlled by diet. I love effexor and what it did for me. I don't like having to deal with hives and looking like I've been mugged. My face swells and the hives make me scratch holes in my skin. I've missed work because of frequent hospital trips. I would take effexor again, but I would really rather do without that particular side effect.
