Actually changed my life. Effectively lifted my depression and has allowed me to finally function normally. The only major side effect i've noticed is that when I miss several doses in a row, I get dizzy and my balance is off. This goes away when I resume taking it, though, and is a small price to pay for what it has done.

I was on synthroid from 2003 to 2006 and I still had fatigue, brain fog and was still cold all the time. I complained to my endocrinologist and since he declared my labs "perfect" he could do nothing for me, when I inquired about Armour, he said he would not prescribe it. I found a doctor in May 2008 who prescribed Armour. But since have been hypothyroid for so long and mistreated with synthroid, I developed adrenal fatigue. tried this for a month after being diagnosed with adult ADD inattentive type, side effects outweighed any potential benefits. Worked at first, though not sure how well - it was definitely doing SOMETHING to me, but never really felt right. Effectiveness diminished over the month while side effects did not lessen, discontinued after 30 days.
