I've been on Cryselle for four months...and it's horrible! I've had two uti's and think I have another now. I go to dr tomorrow to see. I've had vaginal itching, bloating, abdominal pain, acne, and headaches. I feel better on my period! As soon as I start a new pack, I immediately feel sick and usually develop a uti. By the time I start, I'm just getting over my antibiotic. The only contraceptive part of this med is it makes me so sick that I can't even imagine having sex!!

the pil has been affective. I took it for about 8 or 9 years. I am no longer on it and have had my colesterol checked and my HDL was low and I have read articles that says that may be due to the birth control pill.

I had a bad experience with Nuva-Ring. I had originally been on the Depo-Provera shot for about 4 years before I decided to try something else. I researched and talked to my doctor, and decided to try Nuva-Ring. I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! The next day my heart was racing and I started to hear music and talking that was not there. Then later that night I started seeing things that were not there! Horrible and very scarey. I have a murdering mood swing, i snap at anything although my skin look far much better, no weight gain, light bleeding but I had terrible headache a few days before I bleed.

Took this medication to stop my preterm labor; it was AWEFUL. ALthough it worked wonderful and stopped the contractions quicky, the side effects were horrible for me. I also suffer from Anxiety so that may have intensified the side effects.
