I started Loestrin 24 in May of 2010. In July I started having lower abdominal pain followed by upper right abdominal pain. After doing some research I found others had experienced gallbladder spasms. My doctor indicated that I was experiencing gallbladder spasms. I am very healthy and ended up having my appendix removed with no indication of infection b/c of the pain. Since discontinuing my medication three days ago, the symptoms are still there but have improved immensely.

I have had a few side effects from this medicine. I felt like my mouth my drying and I wasn't digesting things very well. Additionally, I was always very drowsy.

I'm about to start using Testim. My T-levels have dropped from 278 to 208 in since January. I've been working out with a trainer have lost 40 lbs in the past 6 months so the doc is having me try this. Honestly, I'm hoping this really helps. I find Allegra D extremely effective for combatting all allergy symptoms. The only downside is you can only take it in the morning and not when the allergies are bothering you. It will keep you up at night!
