I was forced to take this drug for a colonoscopy after I vehemently told the Dr that I didn't want it and to use a painkiller and not an amnesiac. He told me he knew best and just used Versed. this medicine is good because it stops me from feeling my skipped beats and has stopped my tachacardia but this with the other medicines that I am taking makes me very sleepy and fatigued. I cant make it up until 6:00 without taking a nap and then it is very difficult for me to get up.

I've been on Effexor XR for over 4 years now. I have recently added Lithium to boost the Effexor XR and it is working well. Effexor XR has got side effects like all medication but it works for me. With Lithium added I should be able to lower the dose of the Effexor. I was on 375mg a day for major depression and the headaches were too strong so I dropped back to 300mg which is better.
