I do have a problem retrieving common words since using Lyrica however, the worse problem in weight gain. I am already well overweight and had lost 27 lbs. with GREAT effort; however I have gained back nearly 15lbs. already without much of an eating change (I don't think). I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. I take this drug because I had a total thyroidectemy...it now replaces what the horomones that the thyroid creates. I have always had an easy time taking it, no serious side effects. The real key is remembering to take it every day!
