I'm 17 and I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about a month now. I finished the first pack yesterday... (today I started the generic) Well, it helped with my acne and my mood is fine, but I have been on my period for 28 days. I stopped taking this after the first injection(administered at Dr office) 5 hrs after injection, I developed sysytems of spinal menigitis. Severe fever, vertigo and was unable to lift my head or move without severe pain, dizziness and vomitting for 3 DAYS. I was told, flu like symptoms would occur, symtomps were beyond this. I use this drug for cold sores and it is very effective for shortening the duration of them. It also gets rid of the stinging involved with an outbreak. I have to take them at first tingle to shorten the duration. If it has already broken out then it is less effective.

How is it possible that product starts to cause severe stomach cramps, bloating within half-an-hour of intake, cause a debilitating abdomenal pain on its way to intestines, and triggers a strong diarhea within one-to two hours of intake? If this is due to Hexheimer Reaction - should I assume die-off reaction starts while Candex is in stomach? Is there candida in stomach as well?
