I have been in this treatment for the last five months. I am very satisfied as I have good and steady results and have not noticed any serious side effects. I feel safe and well treated. the dose I am taking has been steady for the last 4 months now. my platelet count varies from 50- 180.000. Thje only thing that wotties me is that the doctor cannot give me a plan as to how long I will be taking this medicine. I have not had a splenectomy.

I was put on xyzal 5mg after nothing else worked. After about 1 week I started having visual hallucinations, thankfully they only lasted about 3 days and they weren't that bad . I didn't find anything on the pamphlet inside the box warning about this being a possible side effect.

Whenever I would get food poisoning I would take domstal (domperidone) and the vomiting would stop immediately. However, if I missed a dose the effect would wear out. You need to continue the dose as prescribed otherwise the nausea will return like it did for me.

I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms. Worked great as an addition to another SSRI when I was having trouble with early morning wakefulness. Actually took care of that problem very quickly and I was very pleased with the outcome.
