After almost 18 months of back pain so severe that I could not walk without being in agony for more than 2 minutes, now I can walk with little or no pain, am able to exercise again and so am starting to get fitter and lose weight. Benadryl is a very fast-acting medication and is 100% effective in my case. However, within a half an hour, I am knocked out as a result of the drowsiness effect. I usually sleep for long hours after taking the medication and feel groggy and lazy once waking up. Although my allergies are cleared up, I don't like sleeping the rest of the day or the feeling I get after waking up.

Thank you, for sharing your story. I'm 48 and my doctor has perscibed me Simvastatin 20mg . I have high colesterol and it runs in my family. I confused and not sure what to do. I have not taken it yet.
