Unfortunately, I have only recently started to recearch this medication and it's side effects. At first I thought effxor xr was the best thing that ever happened to me, but after taking it for 2 plus years I wish it was never prescribed to me. Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight. I took codeine very briefly for pain when I was ill with mononucleosis. It gave me severe heartburn, especially while sleeping, so I had to stop taking the drug.

I have not had any medical tests or feedback since cmmencement. I feel the dosage is too high and have cut it to one tablet every second day and I feel much better. i have added 2000 of omega 3 or one pill at noon and one in the evening. I should learn if this produces lower colestrol after mynext medical chck up.

I was on so many medications, it is difficult to differentiate which medication was causing what side effect. The psychiatrist at the residential treatment center put me on the benadryl because I was unable to sleep more than 2 hours per night. The trazadone was not helping me sleep either.
