I have been on Synthroid for over five years. For the last five years the dosage has varied very little mainly staying at 75 MCG’s. For the last five years the drug did its job. its reccomended that i take it by my doctor. i have no choice but to follow his advice if i want to stay alive. i dont really like pills so if i didnt have to take it i wouldnt take it. but overall i guess it works so it serves its purpose.

i wish that the manufacturer would give some indication of the length of time we can expect to experience side efects so that in stopping the medication ,we werent throwing the baby out with the bathwater.we all accept that all meds have side effects, but the severity and duration of them is difficult to assessfor someone new to the drug thanks for a very useful and informative source of information
